FOIA Request to Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office regarding the number of applications and tracking on August 14, 2025.
On August 14, 2025, EC Ohio News submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office. The request seeks information under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq., specifically asking for data related to job applications received by the office. The request asks for records detailing the number of job applications received on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Additionally, it seeks to identify the department or individual responsible for tracking these application numbers.
