Holmes County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Saturday, October 24th is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of unused prescription drugs.
Recent data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health found that 51% of individuals who had misused prescription pain medication in the past year had obtained them from a friend or relative.
To help reduce opportunity, it is important to regularly dispose of leftover medications and check expiration dates.
If you interested in participating tomorrow, you can locate local collection sites hosting events here:

Regular drop off points are also available at Millersburg Police Department and the Sheriff's Department.
