Holmes Middle School issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
As we return to school (virtually) this week, our winter MAP testing window is right around the corner. This information will help you prepare your child to take the MAP Assessment.
Districtwide, testing will take place from December 3 – 18 for students in grades 2-8. You will receive additional directions, including your child’s testing date and time, from your teacher. If possible, please have an adult available to support your child’s testing during their testing window.
Test Preparation
Prior to Test Day
Make sure your student has their district-assigned device ready for testing. Students cannot use personal devices for MAP testing.
Make sure the device is charged and has a strong internet connection.
On Test Day
Minimize distractions for your child as much as possible.
Provide a quiet testing environment and have your child’s district-issued headset ready.
Allow the teacher/proctor to open the session first.
Follow any additional instructions from the teacher/proctor.
