Genesis HealthCare System issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Genesis has been chosen as one of 10 sites within Ohio that will receive the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available.
The Ohio Department of Health has chosen Genesis HealthCare System as one of 10 sites across the state to receive a combined total of more than 420,000 COVID-19 vaccine, possibily by the end of the month.
The sites were chosen based on geography, population and access to ultra-cold storage capacity, according to a press release from Genesis.
