Census Bureau: More men than women in Toronto in 2019

Of the 5,280 people living in Toronto in 2019, 47.7 percent (2,516) were women and 52.3 percent (2,764) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Ohio News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,617-to-1,439. In the 65 and over age range, there were 487 females and 441 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
