Of the 5,072 people living in St. Clairsville in 2019, 51.4 percent (2,606) were women and 48.6 percent (2,466) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Ohio News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,406-to-1,229. In the 65 and over age range, there were 981 females and 580 males.
