Of the 231 people living in Empire in 2019, 41.1 percent (95) were women and 58.9 percent (136) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Ohio News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 90-to-64. In the 65 and over age range, there were 12 females and 33 males.
