The Muskingum volleyball team defeated Ohio Wesleyan 3-1 on Wednesday night to improve to 10-1 on the 2022 season.
The Basics
- Records: Muskingum (10-1 Overall), Ohio Wesleyan (5-8 Overall)

- After both teams played to a 15-15 draw to open the first set, Muskingum used a 10-2 run to close out the opening frame by a score of 25-17.
- Set two saw Muskingum open up on a 10-1 spurt. Ohio Wesleyan couldn't trim the Muskies' lead to single digits again, and Muskingum rolled to a 25-12 win.
- After the Muskies dropped set three, they got back on track in the fourth. After being tied at 14 apiece in the fourth frame, Muskingum used an 11-2 run to close out the match, and win the final set 25-16.
- Muskingum was led by senior Emma Conrad who dished out a game-high 33 assists. Conrad also chipped in 13 digs and three kills as well.
- Senior Emma Dunham was dominate up front, tallying a game-high 12 kills.
- Junior Raegan Flood notched 10 kills and six digs, while junior Khloe Taylor recorded seven kills and six digs for Muskingum.
- Junior Lexie Huck also had a strong game with five kills, while freshman Quinn Horn registered four kills and seven digs.
- Senior Gracie Collins notched a game-high 22 digs for the Muskies as well.
- As a team, Muskingum totaled 41 kills, 36 assists, 67 digs, and five service aces.
- The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, September 24, when they compete in the Juniata Tri-Match. Muskingum will battle Eastern at 2:30 p.m. and Juniata at 5:00 p.m.
