Muskingum University student-athletes in five sports recently received well-deserved accolades and set school records:
Women’s Cross Country: Graduate Senior Macy McAdams tallied a 6K race time of 22:29.6 in a 113-runner field to claim the individual title at the OAC Cross Country Championships held at the University’s Moorehead Farm. She was previously named an OAC Cross County Athlete of the Week for her first-place 5K finish at the Muskingum Meet and received All-Ohio Honors for her fifth place 5K finish at the All-Ohio Championships.
Bowling: Evan Thro ’25 rolled a school-record 1021 (226-216-279-300) series and finished first out of a 173-bowler field at an Ohio Bowling Conference Event.
Volleyball: Emma Conrad ’23, Emma Dunham ’23, and Khloe Taylor ’24 have been named All-OAC Selections for their outstanding 2022 seasons. Emma Dunham was also named an OAC Offensive Player of the Week and Gracie Collins ’23 was named an OAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Football: Quarterback Jordan Garret ’23 was named an OAC Offensive Player of the Week, Linebacker Austin Wilforth ’25 was named an OAC Defensive Player of the Week, and Wide Receiver Ja’Lin Goodman ’23 was named an OAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Wide Receiver Zuri Edmondson ’23 set a new school record for the longest touchdown reception, with a 90-yard completion from Jordan Garrett.
Women’s Soccer: Britney Herrick ’26 was named an OAC Defensive Player of the Week.
