The Lorain County Community College men’s basketball team fell to Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday evening 88-73. The loss drops the Commodores to 4-4 on the season and 0-3 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.
The Triceratops took a 13-point lead into break and only expanded that lead in the second half. They led by as many at 22 points which came in handy as the Commodores cut the lead to under 10 late in the second half.
Leading the Commodores in scoring was Brandon Fisher (Strongsville, Ohio/Columbia HS) with 19 points. He also collected seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Two others scored in double figures for the Commodores: Quante May (Cleveland, Ohio/Horizon Science Academy) scored 15, had eight rebounds, and five assists while Jayden Roberts (Wellington, Ohio/Wellington HS) scored 12 and had 11 rebounds for his first career double-double.
LCCC hosts Clark State Community College this Saturday in the Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium at 1 p.m.
