Men’s Basketball’s furious comeback falls short vs. Baldwin Wallace

Despite a furious second half rally, the Muskingum men's basketball team came up short against OAC-foe Baldwin Wallace on Saturday afternoon.

  • Sophomore DJ Donnell led the Muskies with a career-high 25 points. Donnell registered 23 of his points in the second half. Donnell also set a career-high with 15 made free throws.

  • Despite Baldwin Wallace holding a 20-point lead early in the second half, the Muskies managed to trim the Yellow Jacket lead down to single digits on multiple occasions.

  • Muskingum finished with a 35-30 edge in the rebounding battle, while the Yellow Jackets outscored Muskingum 46-42 in the paint.
  • Muskingum coughed up 15 turnovers on the afternoon compared to nine for Baldwin Wallace, and the Yellow Jackets finished with a 17-9 edge in assists for the contest.
