Cost of college went up for all students at Mid-EastCTC-Adult Education

Tuition and fees rose 8.9 percent for 2018-19 at Mid-EastCTC-Adult Education, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $9,800 to attend the public school this year – $800 more than the $9,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 37 students received grants or scholarships totaling $170,880 and 47 students took out student loans totaling more than $282,794.

Including all undergraduates (226), 165 students used grants or scholarships totaling $889,772, and 185 students took out $1.2 million in federal student loans.
