Genesis HealthCare System issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
Genesis HealthCare System, Coconis Furniture, WHIZ tv and others have partnered to provide free mammograms to women who otherwise couldn't afford it.
During the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, vouchers for free mammograms are available at Coconis Furniture locations and the Genesis Cancer Care Center for community members to pick up. No purchase is required. If you know others who should take advantage of a free mammogram, please let them know. Early detection saves lives
