Holmes Middle School issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
The following message was sent to all CCSD21 families through ParentSquare, the district’s notification tool. Parents that did not receive this message should contact their school’s main office to ensure their contact information is up to date.
Dear CCSD21 families,
As we move into the next phase of this school year, we appreciate your continued understanding and support as we protect our students and their families, and our staff members and their families. Our districtwide Adaptive Pause is in effect through Monday, January 18, at the earliest. It is our hope that in-person students can return to school in person on Tuesday, January 19. In the meantime, all CCSD21 students will engage in learning virtually – at a distance – on school days during the Pause.
During the Adaptive Pause, students will not need to certify their health and families will not receive the daily 4 AM certification email from CrisisGo. Though students will not be reporting to school in person nor certifying their health, please continue to report your family’s COVID-positive cases and/or if your child is a close contact to a COVID-positive individual to your child’s school. Maintaining this information during the Pause is critical so CCSD21 has a clear picture of local metrics, alongside state and regional data, as we determine the end date of our Adaptive Pause.
We wish you and your family a relaxing and rejuvenating Thanksgiving break.
